Jodi Warren is a partner at Capell Barnett Matalon & Schoenfeld LLP, where she represents not-for-profit organizations in complex real estate and governance matters. Her practice focuses on guiding nonprofits, educational institutions, and faith-based organizations through sophisticated real estate transactions, including long-term leases, purchases and sales, joint ventures, and development projects. Jodi helps clients navigate the statutory approval process required for the sale, lease, and other disposition of real property, obtaining approvals from the New York State Attorney General and the Supreme Court. She works closely with organizations to ensure their real estate strategies advance programmatic priorities and long-term mission goals.

Jodi also advises boards on formation, fiduciary duties, compliance, mergers, dissolutions, and real property tax exemptions, helping organizations strengthen governance and ensure sound oversight. She has been recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star and received the Nonprofit Trailblazers Award. She is an active member of the New York City Bar Association’s Non-Profit Organizations Committee and the Government Relations Council of Nonprofit New York.
