Ethan Ganc has been practicing law since 2001. He founded the Law Office of Ethan Ganc in 2010 after working for many years at one of New York City’s most respected boutique bankruptcy firms. He has significant expertise protecting the rights of creditors in all facets of chapter 7, 11, and 13 bankruptcy proceedings. He also regularly represents businesses and individuals debtors in such proceedings. In addition, he has significant experience protecting the rights of creditors outside of bankruptcy and counseling business owners and individuals about alternatives to bankruptcy.
Ethan graduated from Tufts University and received his law degree cum laude from Suffolk University Law School. He is admitted to practice in the State of New York as well as the District and Bankruptcy Courts for the Southern, Eastern, and Northern Districts of New York and the Eastern District of Michigan. He belongs to the New York State Bar Association, where he is a member of the Business Law Section and serves on the Bankruptcy Committee; the Association for the Bar of the City of New York; LeGal; and WorkOut. He is a member of the Tufts University Alumni Council, the governing body of the Tufts University Alumni Association, where he co-chairs the Governance Committee. Since 2018, Ethan has been a director of Notes in Motion, Inc., a New York non-profit that provides dance education in New York City public schools.
